Taylor was introduced to the practice of osteopathy after dealing with years of occupational back pain and no relief from any other modalities. She only started to see results when she found an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who searched for the root cause of her problems, rather than just treating her symptoms. She knew almost immediately that this was the career path she had been searching for.
Taylor is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association. Prior to her osteopathic education, Taylor earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University. Her educational background has allowed her to combine her skills in logic and reasoning with an in-depth knowledge of functional anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, assessment and mechanical principles.
Taylor’s approach to treatment is always unique to her patient’s specific needs and lifestyle. Through gentle adjustment of the body, Taylor will work to stabilize the structure, balance the body and remove obstructions that restrict the flow of nerves, arteries, veins and lymphatics. Only when the body is balanced, and structures are adjusted to normal, can we begin to facilitate the self-healing, self-regulating mechanisms of the body.
Please contact her or book an appointment to learn more about what Osteopathy can do to improve your health and wellness!

Verity is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA) and has continued her education to include Osteopathic treatment of infants. Given half a chance, she could happily talk about Osteopathy all day long, but would much prefer that people experience it for themselves. Her approach to treatment is centered around removing the root cause of dysfunction, and helping patients of all ages rediscover their optimal health.
Just like it’s impossible to touch a single thread of a spider’s web without affecting the whole thing, her experience receiving Osteopathic treatments taught her that sometimes the areas of the body where pain or discomfort are felt are just the effect of dysfunction in a completely different area. She also discovered that Osteopathy was not a form of wizardry, but a way of thinking about the body and how the parts relate to each other structurally.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and mountain biking with her family or reading a book in the sunshine. She’s also been known to optimistically take on physical activities like mud runs that leave her wondering whose terrible idea it was to begin with (always hers!).
